Amy E. Lange, CFA
Amy joined Covington in 2005 to focus on fixed income management for taxable and tax-exempt clients. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder with over 25 years of research and portfolio management experience.
Most recently, Amy served as Portfolio Manager at U.S. Trust Company, N.A. Prior to that, she held similar positions with Bankers Trust and The Boston Company.
She graduated from Boston College with a BS in Finance and Economics and received her MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies from USC. Amy is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles and the CFA Institute.
Amy is a member of the National Charity League, Women’s Leadership Council, and is involved with Vistamar School in El Segundo and PTAs in Manhattan Beach.
What is the CFA?
A professional designation awarded by the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR) to investment and financial professionals after demonstrating competence and integrity of financial analysis. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management and security analysis. Before becoming a CFA charterholder, you must have four years of qualified investment/financial career experience.
