Amy E. Lange, CFA
Amy joined Covington in 2005 and serves as Portfolio Manager and Managing Director of Fixed Income. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and has over 25 years of experience providing customized wealth management solutions for individuals, families, foundations and endowments.
Prior to joining Covington, Amy was a Portfolio Manager at US Trust Company, N.A. She previously served as a pension consultant at Bankers Trust and began her career at The Boston Company in Boston, MA in Private Asset Management.
Amy graduated from Boston College with a BS in Finance and Economics and received her MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies from USC. Professionally, Amy is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles, CFA Institute and the Women’s Leadership Council in Los Angeles.
Amy has a long history of serving in her community and currently serves on board committees at Vistamar School and is active with Manhattan Beach school PTAs. She has been an active member of The National Charity League, Manhattan-Hermosa chapter where she most recently served as Treasurer on the board, and prior to this was a Girl Scout Leader for seven years.
What is the CFA?
A professional designation awarded by the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR) to investment and financial professionals after demonstrating competence and integrity of financial analysis. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management and security analysis. Before becoming a CFA charterholder, you must have four years of qualified investment/financial career experience.
