Managing Director

Scott joined Covington in 2014 having previously served as Senior Analyst and Partner at Crowell Weedon & Company, and Portfolio Manager at Engemann Asset Management. 

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder with over 30 years of research experience. 

Scott graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in Finance.  He is an active member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and is on the Board of Counsilors for The USC Leslie and William McMorrow Neighborhood Academic Initiative.  Scott is a member of  the Investment and Financing Advisory Committee for the city of La Canada Flintridge.

What is the CFA?

A professional designation awarded by the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR) to investment and financial professionals after demonstrating competence and integrity of financial analysis. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management and security analysis. Before becoming a CFA charterholder, you must have four years of qualified investment/financial career experience.
