Cecilia joined Covington in 2015. She has over 25 years of investment management advising high net worth individuals, families, institutions, and special needs/social responsible trusts in financial planning, asset allocation, and portfolio management.
Cecilia spent more than 13 years with City National Rochdale and City National Asset Management as Director and Senior Portfolio Manager. Prior to that, she held senior positions at California Bank and Trust and Sanwa Bank.
Born in Taiwan and raised in Southern California, Cecilia is a graduate of UCLA with a BS degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and received her MBA in Finance focusing on Investment from University of California at Irvine.
She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Los Angeles. She is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
What is the CFA?
A professional designation awarded by the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR) to investment and financial professionals after demonstrating competence and integrity of financial analysis. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management and security analysis. Before becoming a CFA charterholder, you must have four years of qualified investment/financial career experience.
