Managing Director

Craig joined Covington in 2007 and is the firm’s Director of Equity Research.  Previously he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Boston-based Bingham Legg Advisers LLC. 

Craig is responsible for managing investment accounts for high net worth individuals, trusts, and foundations. 

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder with over 30 years of experience. 

Craig graduated from Oregon State University with BS in Forest Product and Finance and received his MBA from UCLA.  He is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles and the CFA Institute. 

Craig sits on the Investment Committee of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles and is a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight West.

What is the CFA?

A professional designation awarded by the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR) to investment and financial professionals after demonstrating competence and integrity of financial analysis. Candidates are required to pass three levels of exams covering areas such as accounting, economics, ethics, money management and security analysis. Before becoming a CFA charterholder, you must have four years of qualified investment/financial career experience.
